Projects listed in the reserve study will be scheduled when approved and when repairs / replacement are necessary. For updates on the current projects, residents may review email blasts, posted notices, meeting minutes, board books, and the community newsletter. 

The gate access project requires coordination with Hilco Redevelopment Partners, next door. Future projects will be reviewed and revised as necessary once we cross certain milestones on current projects.

 

Common Area Renovation (CAR)
Project Milestones

The Board of Directors approved moving forward with this project in April, 2019. The designer, NRD, (Nicole Rutledge Design) was hired in January, 2020 to provide a design concept, floor plans, and to manage the project.

 

After several rounds of reviews and community input on the design, the Board approved a floor plan in February, 2022. After review of several bids, the Board selected Rent Ready as the contractor for construction in May, 2023. 

 

In October, 2023, the Board put the project out for community vote, which included the design concept, floor plans, and pricing. The community approved the project with a vote of 60.65% in favor.

 

Permits were acquired and construction of the Potomac Room started in January, 2024. The furniture selection for Lobby and Terrace areas was approved by the Board in February, 2024. The entire project is estimated to be completed in 2024.
